It has improved Log video support, HDR, and a magnetic mounting adapter. Battery life is better, but still lags behind competitors.

The GoPro Hero 13 offers improved lens mod communication, a secure magnetic quick-release, and better thermal performance with a longer-lasting battery. However, it uses the same aging sensor as the Hero 12, which impacts low-light video quality. Also, the new battery isn't compatible with older models.
